"But then I started falling in love with acting again, so it’s kind of a hobby turned profession. Directing is something that I’ve always wanted to do, though."
Q:See, I'm encouraged that you mention The Goonies. I grew up on that movie, but I'm 30. I didn't know if 17-year-olds today would even have seen it. "The Goonies is classic. That's like the movie I bring with me with if I go out of town for a long time, because it just makes me think of the best times I've seen it with my friends growing up. Dude, everybody knows that movie, everybody watches that film. Best family film ever made."
"I've always said acting is like a tennis match so if you play opposite a great opponent you have a better game. It was a lot of fun to work with all of them."
"I think I had the most fight scenes in the film.. so I wanted to make sure D’Artagnan looks like a bad ass with a sword. Fencing is such a detailed sport that I wanted to make sure it looked right and we could please fencers around the world. I trained for like eight , nine months. I had a lot of time before filming and right when I found out I was doing it I began training. Also, throughout filming every day, in between takes, lunch breaks, me and my stunt team would be training for hours and hours a day."
